Below is a growing list of products I highly recommend, and will be updated with each post. My advice to you is, always purchase the best you can afford. This is something we hear often, and ignore just as much, but learn from my mistakes, as my bank account will tell you, ignoring this statement is counter productive. These products are all tried and tested by myself in some form. If I haven’t tried it, even if it is supposed to be the best in the industry, I will not list them here.

I truly believe acrylic paints are the inpatient man’s (woman’s) oils. I, myself, am relatively new to acrylics, but after one decent class I fell in love. Now I have different brands of the stuff everywhere.

We all tried pastels in school. 20 years on and I still have the set of soft pastel and oil pastel sets I had from my school years. I must add, however, I do not use those brands.

I love books. Books are a source like no other. Yes, there is Pinterest and YouTube, but I still love to have a book on my shelf. Books are like a record or DVD collection. It speaks volumes as to who you are as a person. Here are a few books I would recommend for many of the mediums I’ve listed here.
